On Site X-Rays

We recommend x-rays for all our new patients especially if you have not been to a dentist for over 2 years or as part of a general check up.

On site x-rays are done at our surgery and allow us to pick up small carious lesions that are not visible to the naked eye. They also show pathology lesions that may not be picked up in a routine examination.

Depending on your oral health status we may recommend you to have X-ray examinations on a yearly basis.

We use digital x-ray technology which has more benefits and less risks when compared to traditional x-ray technology. It involves no chemical processing and hence is cleaner for the environment, it reduces radiation exposure by up to 80% in comparison to traditional x-ray radiation. Furthermore, the images produced can be enhanced without altering any original data, allowing for a more accurate and precise diagnosis.
